About Founder
Pathum is an accomplished cricket player who started his cricket career in Kalutara Vidyalaya
and now proudly represents the national cricket team. Beyond the cricket pitch, he is an avid
traveller with a love for the outdoors. His cricketing journey with tours across the world has
given him the opportunity to explore various cultures and breathtaking landscapes, during
which he got the idea for 'Icon Ceylon'.
Feeling a strong urge to reciprocate the warmth he experienced in various countries and
motivated by the enchanting experiences gained in his journeys, Pathum felt compelled to
share the beauty of his homeland, Sri Lanka. So, he founded 'Icon Ceylon' with an expert team
who shared his vision, combining his undying passion for travel and his admiration for the
beauty of Sri Lanka and its cultural wealth.
His love for Sri Lanka extends beyond tourism, and he understands the importance of giving
back to the community. This is why Icon Ceylon channels a portion of its profits into supporting
financially challenged school children to continue their education.
